Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick have gone viral with a video they made in protest of the drag bans happening in the United States.Since the beginning of 2023, dozens of bills have been filed in states across America, targeting drag performances.Last month in Nashville, Tennessee, lawmakers passed a law that bans one class of entertainer: «male and female impersonators,» otherwise known as drag performers. However, a day before the nation's first anti-drag law was set to take effect, a federal judge temporarily blocked it for violating the First Amendment.Now, Bacon and Sedgwick are throwing themselves behind the LGBTQ+ community by dancing to Taylor Swift's «Karma» to raise awareness about the bans on drag queens. The Twitter video starts with the married couple in matching T-shirts standing far away from the camera.

Kevin Bacon supported his wife Kyra Sedgwick this week as she launched a campaign via social media to help people to try and combat a low mood. The Footloose actor showed his support for Kyra by liking an Instagram reel in which she described the moments of sadness that she sometimes gets caught feeling over the weekend, dubbed by her as the 'Sunday Saddies'. The 64-year-old has also been supporting the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star on his own Instagram account by celebrating some of the activities she does in order to fight her negative mood swings.

X trilogy MaXXXine, the production company has revealed.The A24 slasher is a sequel to West’s films X and Pearl, which were released last year and are currently streaming on Hulu, Apple TV, and Roku.The film will take place in the 1980s, as Mia Goth reprises her role as X survivor Maxine Minx – a burlesque dancer and adult film actress who had goals of being a star in Hollywood, after the horrific events from the 2022 film.Starring alongside the Emma actress will be Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon. Angelique Jackson After a massive year in 2022 with back-to-back buzzworthy performances in “X” and “Pearl,” Mia Goth has added a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to her resume, joining Marvel’s “Blade.” The Marvel Studios film stars Oscar winner Mahershala Ali as the title vampire slayer, and is set to be directed by Yann Demange (“Lovecraft Country,” “White Boy Rick”) from a script by Emmy nominee Michael Starrbury, which is said to be “darker than most MCU movies.” Goth joins a star-studded cast which also includes Aaron Pierre and Delroy Lindo, but details of her role are being kept under wraps. The “Blade” reboot was first announced at the 2019 Comic-Con in 2019, where Marvel Studio chief Kevin Feige, surprised Hall H by announcing Ali would take up the mantle of the infamous daywalker after Wesley Snipes played the Marvel Comics character in three films between 1998 and 2006.

“Infinity Pool” actress Mia Goth has joined the cast of Mahershala Ali’s “Blade,” according to an insider with knowledge of the project.Yann Demange, a French-Algerian filmmaker whose previous credits include Jack O’Connell’s “71” and Matthew McConaughey’s “White Boy Rick,” is attached to direct the vampire-killing actioner.Michael Starrbury, who has penned episodes of Netflix and Ava DuVernay’s “When They See Us” and “Colin in Black and White,” wrote the latest draft of the screenplay.Assuming all goes well from here, production will begin in Atlanta in early 2023. While the film will reportedly be darker than a stereotypical Marvel romp, the extent this film will straddle the line between the safely PG-13 MCU entries and New Line Cinema’s original hard-R trilogy with Wesley Snipes remains to be seen.When Stephen Norrington’s “Blade” debuted in 1998, it was mostly sold and generally embraced (good reviews, solid buzz and $131 million worldwide on a $45 million budget) as an R-rated, martial-arts infused Snipes vehicle that just happened to be based on a Marvel comic book.

Halsey is set to star in the third instalment of the A24 Mia Goth-led X franchise, MaXXXine.The singer is one of the recently announced all-star cast members. The film will also see the likes of Lily Collins, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale and Giancarlo Esposito.The horror franchise was created by writer, director and producer Ti West.
