Money saving expert Martin Lewis has warned five major changes are happening in April, and everyone needs to be aware of them.
From next month, bills will increase for several things, including council tax and water. Now the finance expert has rounded-up everything that is changing - and everything people can do now to ease the blow.
Speaking in the MoneySavingExpert weekly email, Martin said: "The news is difficult to cope with right now. And while nothing we face compares to the dangerous, tragic, desperate situation in Ukraine (see how to donate money or needed items there) - life in the UK will get harder to afford for many."

But the consumer champion said that being prepared now can help offset the impact of these costs.
He said most council tax bills will be going up by the maximum allowed on April 1 - normally 3% a year.
That means the average home in band D would pay an extra £57 a year.
You cannot avoid these increases, but you can check if you are due a discount.
Mobile and broadband costs are going up for many on April 1 too.
Lewis said: "Many of the 16 million who are out of contract across these sectors are due big price rises. Most hit around 1 April, some are already in place. If so, see this as an opportunity to check if you can get a better deal elsewhere."
For broadband and line rental, most people who are out of contract pay in the region of £30 to £45 a month.
Lewis advised Brits in this position to look for short-lived deals on price comparison websites.
He added: "The cheapest deals come from short-lived sign-up incentives on price comparison sites, such as an Amazon voucher or money on prepaid Mastercards."
