“I’m sorry, I was so lost by the little girl,” he began, “I remember going through that period with my little girl when she was singing Let It Go and she wasn’t doing it in a bunker. I was quite moved by that, I just got distracted for a moment.” Susanna Reid empathetically said: “Yeah, it throws you doesn’t it.” Martin agreed with glassy eyes as Susanna continued: “The bravery of a little girl and to do that after everything she’s been through.” Martin called her a “true star” and light in the darkness of the bleak Russian invasion of Ukraine. “Just quite stunning and you’re right a shining light, a true star in the real sense of the word,” he commended.
