Martin Lewis has warned people that there are just a few hours left to get £205 free using an 'easy' trick that doesn't require switching banks. Last month, the money-saving expert shared how you could get the free money by opening a new bank account.
HSBC is offering an initial payment of at least £125 when you open one of its new multi-currency accounts, with an additional £80 at a later date. However, the Money Saving Expert (MSE) team highlighted that while the "free money was lovely", the account isn't a "top pick".
Now, Mr Lewis has warned that the bank has put a deadline on the offer, which means people only have until midnight tonight to take advantage of it.

Writing on Twitter, he said: "Totally FREE £205, you don't need to switch banks to get it. Got lots of successes saying how easy it is." He added that he was "starting to get worried it may be pulled soon" and encouraged his followers to take a look at the offer urgently.
Just under an hour later, his concerns were confirmed. In another tweet, he said: "It seems my tweet crystallised them announcing an end date. This will be closed on MONDAY midnight. So go quick."
In order to get the free cash, customers must first be new to HSBC and open a fee-free HSBC Advance account. This is effectively like an everyday current account but is linked to a 5 per cent saver.
You don't need to switch banks to HSBC either, in fact, all you need to do is open the account and spend on the HSBC debit card five times within 60 days. There is also no minimum spend for the card.
Following this, you will need to pay £1,500 into the account,
