Matin said the conditions on the London to Sheffield train on Monday afternoon were 'like something from the 19th century'. He said every seat and standing space on the service was taken and there was just one working toilet for the whole train, WalesOnline reports.

Linsey Farnsworth, a Labour councillor in Amber Valley, replied showing a photo of a long line for another train: "I was supposed to be on that train. Despite getting to the station early we were told the train was full. I had a reserved seat."
Another, Farsight Finance, said: "Sounds like an awful experience though, something needs to be done about this. Imagine being a wheelchair user?! You'd probably end up with someone on your lap", while Deby Ould said: "I love travelling on the trains in Switzerland, soooo much
