With many people stuck on whether they should change their energy deal amid a volatile market, Martin Lewis is hailing one particular tariff.
It comes following an announced fall in the energy price cap by 12.3 per cent which will come into force on April 1. This will drag the current cap of £1,928 to £1,690 for a typical dual-fuel household in England, Scotland, and Wales, Ofgem announced.
The money-saving expert has also highlighted that predictions state the cap will drop once again in July, although this will still be way above what prices were prior the pandemic and energy crisis. While the price cap will still be cheaper, Martin has highlighted that one particular tariff could see customers 'undercut' the price cap by as much as 3 per cent.

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, recently, Martin said: "The E.ON Next Pledge tariff, which you can switch to, charges roughly 3% less than the Price Cap for the first year. To get it, you need to be on Direct Debit and have or get a smart meter.
"So if that works for you, and you’re planning to stick on the Price Cap, it’s a no brainer."
However, the E.ON Next Pledge tariff is only available to existing customer who pay for their electricity bill via direct debit. Despite this, you can still get another good deal with E.ON, although it won't be as good as the Pledge tariff.
For risk-averse customers, E.ON has a fixed-rate tariff which is set at three per cent over current rates, but based on current price cap predictions, it's only worth it if you're the type of customers who wants a solid line on what they're paying and don't want to see their bills change anytime soon.
