Mark Wright on why he was 'upset' ahead of wife Michelle's role in Netflix hit

Mark Wright has been singing his wife - former Coronation Street star - Michelle Keegan's praises recently.
The Only Way is Essex cast member spoke to the Express about Michelle's latest endeavour, Netflix's popular thriller, Fool Me Once. The 36 year old plays the lead character, Maya Stern, who is "disturbed by an image of her late husband captured on her toddler's nanny cam." However, while Mark gushed over his wife of nine years and admitted that he's eternally proud of her, he did have one criticism.
While chatting about the show, he said that he found hearing constant spoilers from Michelle frustrating, as it meant he wouldn't be able to watch the show like a regular viewer. The 37 year old revealed that Michelle found out she had landed the part while they were on holiday in Dubai, and received the story mid trip to read.
He shared: "Annoyingly, we were on holiday in Dubai when Michelle was told she was going to get the job and they gave her the book to read. While we were in Dubai, I kept hearing always on the sun beds - and it was quite a quiet hotel - I could hear her going 'hehe'.
And I go 'what' and she goes 'Listen to this!'" Mark continued: "And she was telling me about the moments that were happening, so before the show started, I was a little bit upset that I wasn't going to watch it as a new viewer, where I didn't know the ending of it." However, Mark admitted that while he had an idea of what was going to happen in the show, he never saw Michelle act in any of the scenes until it aired. Rather, she just read him parts of the book to keep him in the loop.
