Depp and Beck released a music video for one of their singles, titled “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr,” on Thursday along with the announcement. The song is one of Depp’s original compositions and is attributed as the catalyst for this collaborative album. The title references the late Hollywood actress Hedy Lamarr, who sued Warner Bros.

Phoenix have released the music video for their new single ‘Alpha Zulu‘ alongside news of North American and European tour dates.The Pascal Teixeira-directed video, the concept of which came from the band and also saw contributions from Emma Besson and Louis Bes, was shared today (June 7). Zack Sharf Jeff Beck announced during his June 2 concert in the English city of Gateshead that he’ll be releasing a new album with Johnny Depp next month. The album will mark Depp’s first major project released since the end of his highly-publicized defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. Girl In Red has announced a new one-off show in London next spring.The Norwegian singer-songwriter will bring her ‘Make It Go Quiet Tour’ to the capital’s O2 Brixton Academy on April 3, 2023. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (May 27) and can be purchased here.It comes after she recently postponed her European headline tour due to damage to her vocal cords.“After my US tour ended on the 25th of April, I went to a throat specialist in Norway who said I had nodular damage to my vocal cords,” Girl In Red explained in a statement.

BBC Radio 3 has announced the musicians that will join the next phase of its New Generation Artists programme, who will work with the broadcaster from September this year through to December 2024, initially crossing over with the last team of musicians participating in the scheme.The programme, in the words of the BBC itself, “supports young musicians at the beginning of their international careers with performance opportunities in London and around the UK”.That includes solo shows as well as performances with the BBC orchestras and appearances at festivals including the BBC Proms, Cheltenham Festival and Edinburgh International Festival, with broadcasts of those performances on Radio 3 and other radio stations around Europe bringing participating musicians to a wider audience.The new team taking part in the programme includes three UK musicians – accordionist Ryan Corbett, jazz pianist Fergus McCreadie and countertenor Hugh Cutting – plus, from beyond the UK, Colombian cellist Santiago Cañón-Valencia, Berlin-based Leonkoro Quartet, New Zealand-born violinist Geneva Lewis and South African soprano Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha.Says Radio 3 Controller Alan Davey: “It is a privilege for Radio 3 to be providing performance and broadcast opportunities to young artists as they embark on their international careers. The Eagles have confirmed a number of additional special guests for their BST Hyde Park show in London this summer.Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Bruce Springsteen will hit the road joined by the full E Street Band for the first time since 2017 on a 2023 world tour.The Boss will reunite with Gary Tallent, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa and more with North American arena dates in February. He’ll head to stadiums in Europe from late April and then back to the States in August.At this time, only European dates have been revealed with details for North American, UK and Belgium dates yet to be revealed. Kehlani has announced details of a UK, European and North American tour that will run from July through to December.The Bay Area artist will tour in support of their third studio album ‘Blue Water Road’, which was released last month.Kehlani will embark on the ‘Blue Water Road Trip’ on July 30 in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a string of North American tour dates running until October with a date in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 21.She will then head to Europe in November for a number of live dates, which will conclude with a run of UK and Ireland shows in London, Dublin, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.General sale tickets for Kehlani’s UK dates will go on sale here this Friday (May 20) from 10am, while tickets for the North American shows can be bought here from 10am local time on Friday.
