Police are searching for thugs after a vehicle and house were torched in quiet residential streets just a few miles from each other.
Emergency services were called to a vehicle in flames on Gowans Terrace, in Perth around 11.30pm on Tuesday evening, March 1.
Around the same time officers received reports of a house fire on Catmoor Avenue in Scone.
A picture of the property shared with the Record shows burn damage to the outside of the property, which is cordoned off by a line of tape.
Police Scotland have confirmed to the Record that the two fires are being treated as deliberate.
They are now investigating whether the two fires could be linked.
Police Scotland have confirmed that no-one was injured in either fire.
But officers are considering whether these incidents may be linked with the two addresses just three miles apart.
Police Scotland: "The fires are being treated as wilful".
Police from Tayside added: "Anyone who was in the area of either Gowans Terrace, Perth or Catmoor Avenue, Scone around 11pm on Tuesday and saw anything suspicious or has dashcam footage is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 3625 of 1st March 2022.
