The body of a man has been discovered on a street in Glasgow with the death being treated as "unexplained."
Police were called to the scene on Littleton Drive in the Summerston area of Glasgow at around 6.50am on Friday, March 11.
The street was cordoned off, with a witness revealing to Glasgow Live that officers were seen carrying out door-to-door enquiries in the area.
The remains, found outside a block of flats, are thought to be of a 59-year-old man but he has not yet been identified.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Littleton Drive, Glasgow, around 6.50am on Friday, 11 March, 2022 following the sudden death of a 59-year-old man.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
