Manchester United's Anthony Elanga has admitted scoring his first international goal for Sweden was bittersweet.
Elanga, 19, enjoyed a breakout campaign at United last season and his performances have been recognised by Sweden manager Janne Andersson. Elanga has represented Sweden through various age levels but he's now a firm part of Andersson's senior squad.
Sweden continued their UEFA Nations League campaign against Norway on Sunday night and Elanga started in that match. Erling Haaland scored a brace for Norway and Elanga managed to halve the deficit in extra-time, which was his first international goal.

Although Elanga's goal was merely a consolation in a 2-1, it was a well-taken strike that was finessed from the edge of the box. The United man was asked for his thoughts after scoring his first goal for Sweden and he admitted it was bittersweet.
“It feels good, but we lost against Norway and it was a match we wanted to win," Elanga told Fotboll Skanalen.
“I just wanted to come in and do a great job and show the fans what I can do. I hope I did, and now we focus on Serbia.
"Janne [Sweden manager] just told me that I would do my thing, push them and try to score. That’s what I was trying to do today. We started the second half very well and in the return match I think we can do it even better.
"I know we can do it even better and I hope we can get a result in Norway.”
