Manchester United are reportedly 'in the front row' to sign Inter Milan player Denzel Dumfries during the summer transfer window.
Dumfries, who will turn 27 years old before the end of the season, is someone that the Italian club are 'waiting for the right offer to cash in on'. Inter are apparently aiming to make a €60 million net profit during the upcoming window to ease their ongoing financial issues, and the Netherlands international is earmarked as the marque departure to achieve that target.
It is claimed that they have even 'identified' the 'perfect replacement' in Canada international Tajon Buchanan, who was part of his national team's squad at the World Cup and has helped Belgian team Club Brugge reach the Champions League knockout stages this season. Dumfries seems Premier League-bound, according to these reports.

As reported by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport (via L’Interista), Arsenal are alongside United 'in the front row'. Chelsea, too, have been credited with an interest but are less likely to make a move, having already signed Malo Gusto from French side Lyon during the January transfer window.
While Gusto will be arriving in England this summer, another Lyon academy graduate Anthony Martial could also be on the move to the capital. The United centre-forward is reportedly "one to watch" this summer, CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has told TEAMtalk.
The reporter claims that "West Ham have really liked the player in the past". It is also said that a return to former club Monaco "is not unthinkable either".
Jacobs adds that the situation is "a shame" as everyone at the club likes the player. Fitness problems
