Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has insisted that forward Anthony Martial "doesn't deserve" to play for the club again.
The Frenchman, who joined United from AS Monaco back in September 2015, has spent most of this season on the treatment table through injury. He has missed 28 of the club's 42 matches this season through a collection of different injury complaints.
After being handed a fresh opportunity to rekindle his United career by manager Erik ten Hag during pre-season last summer, Martial missed the season opener against Brighton & Hove Albion because of a hamstring problem. He has been plagued by injury woes ever since, meaning he has played just 14 times this term.

He has not featured since the second leg of United's Carabao Cup semi-final triumph over Nottingham Forest on February 1 because of a hip problem. As revealed by the Manchester Evening News last month, the Reds are open to selling the former Sevilla loanee this summer amid their plans to recruit a new striker.
And although the club is still competing in three different competitions this season, meaning Ten Hag needs every player within his squad available to him, Parker does not believe Martial will play for the club again, suggesting that Ten Hag no longer "trusts" him.
"I think the prognosis for Anthony Martial is that he has played his last game for Man United," Parker told bettors. "He can't play through a pain barrier and Erik ten Hag now doesn't trust him anymore, which makes sense. There is no reason to trust Martial.
"So, I don't think that we will ever see Martial playing for Man United again. I don't think Ten Hag is that concerned
