Former Manchester United forward Ruud van Nistelrooy is reportedly being considered as a potential candidate for the managerial position at Leicester City in their search to replace Enzo Maresca.

Reports in Belgium claim that the 47-year-old stands as a possible replacement for Maresca. If the Dutchman secures the position, it would mark his managerial comeback following his departure from PSV Eindhoven last year.
His resignation followed a single season managing the club during which he achieved victory in the Dutch Cup. In addition to experiences helming PSV's youth teams, he also functioned as Guus Hiddink's deputy in the Dutch national team.
Referencing his term with PSV, Van Nistelrooy hinted at his interest in taking up the reins in the Premier League.
