Manchester United have announced an increase to season ticket prices for the first time in over a decade to cover heightened costs in providing matchday services.
Changes will come into affect for the 2023/2024 campaign, with adult season ticket prices ready to hike by five per cent per match. It is the first such increase implemented by the Old Trafford giants in 11 years.
A similar inflation will come into play for executive club members. However, the club has stressed the importance on keeping prices as low as possible amid skyrocketing living costs in the UK.

Details announced by the club, who recently started paying matchday staff the Real Living Wage, say ticket prices - along with food and beverage costs - will remain among the most affordable in the Premier League and United are committed to that approach. Costs for delivering games have increased by 40 per cent in the last five years and 11 per cent in the last 12 months alone.
An explanation from the club read: "The modest increase in price for the 2023/24 season is necessary to allow the club to operate on a sustainable basis. We understand that our fans are also facing pressure from increased living costs and that is why we have kept price increases well below the current rate of inflation."
Despite the increase, costs for younger supporters (under-16s) have been frozen in dedicated family areas, and United have also retained the 50 per cent discount for match-goers aged 65 and over. Supporters moving into this category next season will receive a 25 per cent discount in all areas of the stadium.
A deadline for renewals - for season ticket holders as well as executive club members - has been set at Friday, May
