While an unlikely quadruple is still technically a possibility, the United manager has insisted that he and his players are not thinking about it. The Reds currently sit eight points behind league-leaders Arsenal in the Premier League, and Neville fears that his former side will fall just short of winning the title this season.

However, Neville does not believe it will be the Gunners that United finish behind, with the Sky Sports pundit reiterating his opinion that Manchester City will eventually win the league title. He claimed that Ten Hag's men may well find themselves in second place at Arsenal's expense come the end of the campaign.
"That’s my inkling earlier in the season, what normally happens is one team gets so close they realise they can’t win it and then they just go like that in the last two or three games," he said on The Overlap. "You lose two games and then all of a sudden someone else goes above you. I thought City would win the league and United would finish second two or three months ago.
