A man charged with the murder of a Scottish woman whose body was found in a tent has appeared in court.
Paul Neilson, of Spalding, is accused of the murder of Colette Helen Marie Law, from Greenock, reports Lincolnshire Live.
The 26-year-old's body was discovered in the grounds of St Mary and St Nicholas Church on Church Street, Spalding, Lincolnshire, by police on July 17.
Neilson appeared at Lincoln Crown Court today for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
The 30-year-old, who appeared in a grey jumper with a shirt underneath and grey joggers, spoke only to confirm his name.
A provisional trial date has been set for January 22 next year.
Prosecuting barrister James Varley appeared via video link, while John McNally represented Neilson in court.
