Man tells jurors of moment he was kidnapped after being followed by 'suspicious' Audi as trial of two defendants continues

A man has told a jury of the moment he was kidnapped after noticing he was being followed by a 'suspicious' black Audi. He had been for a haircut in Hale, Trafford, in April 2019 when he was approached by three men posing as plain clothes police officers.
He was 'arrested' before being put in the back of a black Audi A6 and driven to a dead end road in Gorton, Manchester Crown Court heard. The Audi stopped before a VW transporter van approached, jurors have been told.
The man was bundled into the back of the vehicle after having a pillowcase shoved over his head, a jury has been told. He was transferred to a lock-up where he was tortured, the court has been told.
The man's arm's singed with a blowtorch and his testicles Tasered, jurors have heard. Demands were made to his family for a ransom of £500,000 it was previously said. Police were called and the kidnappers were intercepted. The man, the court heard, was rescued after 12 hours.

Six men - Micah Walfall, 39, of no fixed address; Daniel Lowe, 32, of Greenwood Road, Northampton; Ben Ukaegbu, 42, of no fixed address; John Bishop, 35, of of Stanley Road, Chingford, London; Nicky Barnes, 31, of Byfield Road, Northampton; and Michael Etubu, 39, of Abbeycroft Close, Tyldesley - have been convicted of conspiracy to kidnap, jurors were told.
Now two other men are on trial, also accused of conspiracy to kidnap - Shaun Freeman, 29, and Delroy Chin, 47. Prosecutors allege Mr Freeman gave 'information' about the man to the group and that Mr Chin placed trackers on his car.
