A pervert who travelled 150 miles to meet up with what he believed to be a 13-year-old girl was one of the criminals locked up in Greater Manchester this week.

A man who was previously jailed for harassment is wanted on recall to prison after breaching the terms of his license. Greater Manchester Police are now appealing for the public's help to trace Aaron Freeman, 33.
He had been released from prison in August 2022 after being jailed for harassment. However, after breaching the conditions of his license he is wanted on recall to prison.
Freeman is known to have links to the north Manchester area and also Tameside. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is being urged to contact police.

A post shared by Greater Manchester Police on Wednesday (September 7) wrote: "Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a wanted man from north Manchester. Aaron Freeman (14/11/1988) was released from prison in August 2022 after being jailed for harassment.
"He is wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his license. Freeman is known to have links to the north Manchester and Tameside areas of Greater Manchester."
Anybody with information regarding the whereabouts of Freeman should contact police on 0161 856 63550 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
