A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after 'acting suspiciously' on a bus in Warrington. Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident on the number three bus service on Sunday (February 18).
Details about the nature of the incident cannot currently be disclosed by Cheshire Constabulary, but it is understood the force is also trying to trace the victim and their family.
A man, aged 31, was escorted off the service by security after the incident at around 3.30pm and has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault amid ongoing investigations.

Detective Inspector David Schofield said: “Enquiries in relation to this incident are underway and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the bus at the time and witnessed any suspicious behaviour.
“If you have any information that could help us then please get in touch.”
