Manchester United set up a quarter-final FA Cup tie with Liverpool with their win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday but it was what happened after full-time that has grabbed the most attention.
Erik ten Hag claimed Forest players were targeting captain Bruno Fernandes, who was seen limping out of the stadium after full-time. He had been a doubt for the clash having picked up a knock against Fulham on Saturday.
United have taken issue with Fulham’s social media team decision to post a ridiculing TikTok video, which shows the 29-year-old falling to the ground after a tackle and staying down before quickly getting to his feet to continue the attacking phase.

Fulham are yet to respond to United’s displeasure, but Ten Hag wants an apology. But Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has rebuffed claims that his players were told to be over-rough on Fernandes during Wednesday’s FA Cup tie.
Fernandes, yet to miss a United game through injury, played the full 90 minutes. Ten Hag said after full-time: "You saw that Forest were targeting him. I don't say what it is, but it was a serious injury.
"He has a serious injury, he continued to play on Saturday and then also he fought to be part of this game. He has a very high pain threshold.”
BBC Sport put the comments before Forest manager Santo, to which he replied: “I don’t think so, I didn’t see what Erik saw. He (Fernandes) is a very good player. He needs to be controlled. We did that in a fair way.”
