A man has died following a horror flat blaze in Glasgow.
Emergency crews rushed to the inferno on Polwarth Street in Hyndland after receiving the alarm at 6am on Friday.
It has since been confirmed that a man has died.
Police say they are not treating the blaze as suspicious.
Images from the scene show the windows of the tenement flat blown out following the incident.
Police, fire crews and ambulance teams were pictured in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A man has died following a fire in a flat in Polwarth Street, Hyndland. Police were notified of the fire around 6.30am on Friday, April 26, 2024. "The fire is not suspicious."
