And it appears Gary has decided to drive down to Manchester rather than fly from Scotland, as he has shared his stop off on the M6 this afternoon in his car.
Gary paid a visit to one of the services regularly voted the very best in the UK. Yes, it was Tebay Services between Junctions 38 and 39 on the M6 in Cumbria.
He shared a photo of the sign for the services, and wrote: "The Rolls Royce of service stations #Tebay". He followed it up with a photo of a coffee cup from the "posh" services which features a farm shop and artisan food and drinks.
Fans heartily approved of his stop off of choice on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Scottish Suzi wrote on X: "I take great great comfort knowing that @GaryBarlow and I share a love for the same motorway service station on the M6!"
