A motorcyclist is in hospital after a horror crash with a car on a street in Glasgow.
Emergency crews raced to the collision on Allison Street in the city's Govanhill after receiving reports of the incident at 7.20pm on Friday. Paramedics attended and the motorcyclist was found injured.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, where his current condition is unknown. The road was closed for some time to allow investigation work to take place.
Images from the scene show a large cordon in place with ambulance crews and multiple cop vehicles in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Friday, 20 April, 2024, we received a report of a crash involving a motorbike and a parked car on Allison Street, Glasgow. The motorcyclist was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The road has re-opened.”
