Manchester City's injury crisis is growing, with Matheus Nunes becoming the fourth player to withdraw from international duty in as many days.
City are still without Kevin De Bruyne, with Sergio Gomez and John Stones picking up fresh injuries recently to keep them out until after the international break. Nathan Ake got injured in training last week so withdrew from the Netherlands squad on Sunday, with Ederson (foot) and Mateo Kovacic (muscle) pulling out of the Brazil and Croatia camps respectively on Monday.
Now, midfielder Nunes has been withdrawn from the Portugal squad after reportedly missing training on Wednesday, leaving City with just 14 fit outfield players.

A statement from the Portugal FA said: "The midfielder is unfit for Portugal's two games. Matheus Nunes was declared clinically unfit for the National Team's two games against Liechtenstein and Iceland, after undergoing tests.
The player will no longer travel to Zurich with the rest of the national delegation."
While the official reason for Nunes' injury is fitness, reports in Portugal suggest he presented 'muscle complaints' after training on Tuesday.
His injury means there are seven City players out ahead of the Premier League clash with Liverpool on November 25.
