A man has been charged after a police officer was injured in Bury.
Sherif Abdelalim, of no fixed address, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage, following an incident in Wash Lane, on Wednesday evening (June 2).
Mr Abdelalim has been remanded in custody, ahead of a court appearance.

Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6:10pm on Monday, 14 June, we received a report of a two vehicle crash on A1, Gateside in Cupar. “Officers attended and the road was closed for a short time to allow for investigation and uplift of the vehicles and reopened around 7pm.
