Two people have been arrested after allegedly ramming police with a suspected stolen car.

A man was been arrested after police in Oldham used a stinger to bring a stolen car to a halt - just half an hour after it was swiped.
Officers sprang into action after the theft of the car was reported at around 10:50pm last night from Old Kiln Lane in Grotton, Saddleworth.
Within minutes they managed to trace the vehicle and GMP's Tactical Vehicle Interception Unit were called in to help.

The vehicle was then stopped using a stinger - a sliding strip of spiked metal designed to deflate tyres - just 30 minutes after the original call.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and remains in custody for questioning Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
Inspector Sue Chadwick, from GMP's Oldham division, said: "First and foremost, I am pleased that we are able to reunite the victim with their vehicle and have arrested a suspect. "This is an excellent example by the officer involved of team work to bring the incident to a quick, safe and, ultimately, positive conclusion.
"I hope this incident builds public trust and confidence surrounding GMP's response to incidents like this and commitment to fighting crime whilst delivering outstanding service."
