A Bolton man has been charged with a string of offences after a woman was knocked down by her own car and left seriously injured.
Police were called to a 'fail-to-stop' collision between a car and a woman in her 60s in Church Street, Horwich, on February 27.
Gary Foulkes, 40, of Ashness Place, Breightmet, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of burglary, theft of motor vehicle and possession of a bladed article.

He was remanded in custody following a hearing at Bolton Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday March 14) and is set to appear at Bolton Crown Court on April 20.
The woman is still recovering from her injuries in hospital but is due to be released soon.
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesman said: "A 41-year-old man has appeared in court after a woman was injured by her own car following a burglary in Bolton. Gary Foulkes (DOB 09/08/1981), of Ashness Place Bolton, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of burglary, theft of motor vehicle and possession of a bladed article.
"He was remanded into custody when he appeared at Bolton Magistrates' Court yesterday (14 March 22) and will next appear at Bolton Crown Court on 20 April 2022.
"At around 9pm on Sunday 27 February 2022, we received a report of a fail-to-stop collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Church Street, Horwich. A woman in her 60s suffered serious injuries and is still in hospital but expected to be discharged soon."
