Former Love Island contestant Malin Andersson has opened up to her fans on social media about a heartbreaking discovery she made.The 30 year old reality TV star and mother-of-one revealed that upon returning to her family's former home, she found that everything had been "completely changed" and her father's gravestone was missing. In an emotional post, Malin explained that the headstone had been removed due to local authorities being unable to contact her mother after her passing, which prevented the upkeep of her father's grave. Malin's mother, Consy-Gloria, passed away from stomach cancer at the age of 65 in November 2017.
Her father had reportedly died while she was still an infant. She expressed her dismay at the situation, stating: "Yesterday wasn't good, guys. My dad's grave wasn't there anymore because when my mum died, they couldn't contact her to upkeep his grave, so the headstone wasn't there, but we found this plot..." She continued: "And the house I was born in which he built is now wrecked and has been completely changed and ruined (only since a few years ago as my sister went and the old owners were lovely and let her inside to visit and take pictures.” The journey of revisiting her past home brought up a multitude of feelings for Malin, adding: “I feel a lot of grief and confusion here and I feel I've unblocked a lot of hurt inner child but I feel sick and a bit depressed.
"I can't really describe the feeling but way too much has come to the surface for me too soon and my head's gone. Been feeling so much energy. So much sadness and also happiness.
