MAFS UK's George Roberts 'arrested on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour'

Married At First Sight UK star George Roberts has allegedly been arrested following accusations of coercive and controlling behaviour after from three of his ex girlfriends - something he denies. George, 40, is reportedly facing a police investigation over allegations of coercive control and harassment, as reported by The Sun.
In a statement, the Met Police told OK!: “A 40-year-old man was arrested by Met officers in Worcestershire on Thursday, 29 September on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour. "He was taken to a Worcestershire police station and subsequently bailed to return pending further enquiries.This follows an allegation of controlling and coercive behaviour and harassment reported to the Met on Monday, 26 September." Sign up here George, who married April Banbury, 32, and on the E4 show, will still continue to feature in MAFS as bosses have decided to continue airing the pre-recorded shows, which air on weeknights.The dad-of-four's arrest comes after it was reported that he had been accused of alleged emotional abuse by three of his ex-girlfriends which he "categorically denies".
George was still allowed to appear on MAFS despite claims of “obsessive”, “manipulative” and “abusive” behaviour, the Sun reported. According to the publication, his exes made separate complaints to the police about him and they were horrified that show producers ignored alerts
