Following last night's Married At First Sight UK finale, participant Thomas Hartley took to Instagram Live with co-star Gemma Rose to discuss the reunion episodes. The pair dropped some cryptic hints at what else went on behind-the-scenes, with Thomas saying: "One thing I will categorically say is, there was so much more that went on, and I mean..." Gemma then chimed in with: "What he's got away with, like, oh my god" although she did not reveal who she was referring to. During the live, Gemma had previously stated that she felt the show protected Matt and April during the reunion more than herself and the other participants.

Following the final vowels, the reunion episode confirmed that just two couples – April Banbury and George Roberts, and Jenna Robinson and Zoe Hartley – were still together out of the 10 original marriages. It is not yet known whether April and George are still an item after George was arrested on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour earlier this month.
