Married at First Sight UK's Matt Murray faced his ex-wife Gemma Ross's wrath once again after he lashed out at Sophie Brown and left her in tears on tonight's penultimate episode of the hit E4 show. While the dinner party got off to an amicable start, the couples – and exes – soon turned up the heat and it wasn't long before shouting matches took place at the table.
One of the most explosive moments came as Matt waded into a discussion between Sophie and her husband Jonathan. When Matt suggested Sophie was "fake", Gemma shouted at her ex and claimed he had also called Sophie a "b*tch".
Things then got even more confrontational as Sophie challenged him. Defending himself, Matt said: "The words 'fake b***h' is not my terminology," as Sophie replied: "What did you say then?" Matt said: "That Sophie is a different person in front of the other people than what she was in front of Jonathan," as Sophie shouted: "Are you actually having a laugh? Because that is actually the biggest load of f*****g fake news I've ever heard in my life." Matt then said: "Oh really?" as she stood up and screamed: "I have backed him [Jonathan] the whole time" Sophie then said: "You are not elaborating," as Matt said he didn't need to, before she stormed off as Chanita followed her.There has been plenty of drama between Matt and Gemma.The couple at first seemed to be the perfect match, but things soon turned sour as barber Matt was put off my Gemma's overtly sexual remarks on their wedding day and honeymoon.
