The 61-year-old A League of Their Own star Rosie took to her social media to provide the latest news on her close pal's health and revealed that Madonna is "good" and "recovering at home" as she responded to all the support love and support sent by fans.
"She is recovering at home - she is very strong in general," Rosie responded to one follower who asked for an update on the pop star's health in the comments section of a touching photo of Rosie and Madonna starring in A League of Their Own.
Captioning the photo, she penned: "Remember when? #league #mo." Rosie also replied: "[red love heart] She's good," to another concerned follower asking for an update.
It comes as Madonna was admitted to ICU last week after becoming unwell with a bacterial infection before she was discharged from the hospital and was able to recover in the comfort of her lavish $32.5 million New York mansion.
But her sudden illness has meant the postponement of her Celebration tour which had been set to kick off in Vancouver in Canada later this month. The 64-year-old had been in the final stages of rehearsals ahead of the world tour when she was taken to hospital.
