Have you ever wondered what the final few pre-final days are like in the Love Island villa? If there’s one person to give us the gossip it’s last year’s winner Millie Court. The 25 year old was crowned 2021 Love Island champ alongside her then-partner Liam Reardon, and she says the final few days on the island were some of the very best the group had. Why? Of course, the looming prospect of being able to strip off their microphones and head back to their families was a big factor but, Millie also says in an exclusive chat with OK!, that being allowed to have some proper beauty prep for the final episode was dreamy.
“Towards the final, you really think ‘This is it now, this is your final night. It’s over, you’ve got to pack your bags and move to a different villa’.They would even let us play music! One producer got her phone out and was like ‘Right, get your requests in’. It was amazing because we hadn’t listened to music for like two months,” says Millie.
“We were all listening to our favourite songs and we had a pamper. We did face masks and hair masks ourselves – and fake tan.Though Chloe [Burrows] fake tanned all the time! “Then, on the final day, we had our nails done. Someone came in [to the villa].
All the boys got haircuts and we could get our hair done. We could get our makeup done as well but I did my own. It was so nice to get nails, we just had stick-on nails the whole time, they would fall off after day two so you’d just be constantly be re-sticking your nails on.
For the final we got acrylics. “I went for yellow acrylics – I don’t know why I did that. I asked for yellow and then I remember I got them really long.
