Love Island fans disappointed at Gemma's mum for not giving her Luca 'warning'

Love Island fans have been left disappointed after Gemma Owen's mum failed to give her an important warning.The 19 year old international dressage rider has been coupled up with fishmonger Luca Bish, 23, for the majority of the series and the pair have been going from strength to strength as they've even dropped the L bomb on each other. And with the series finale rapidly nearing, the Islanders were surprised by reuniting with their loved ones from back home on the penultimate episode.
While Gemma's famous footballer dad Michael Owen didn't make an appearance, her mum Louise Bonsall did. After telling her daughter how "proud" her dad is of her, Louise expressed her thoughts on their romance – even admitting that she voted for Gemma and Luca to be together at the very start of the series.
But viewers were taken aback by Louise's attitude around her daughter and Luca's romance after recalling how she spoke out about Tasha Ghouri being "bullied" in previous episodes. In the Snog Marry Pie segment of the show, Tasha was left in tears over Luca and Dami Hope's "nasty" comments, with the boys later apologising to the dancer.
Louise took to the comments section of a video of Tasha and Andrew on social media to respond to the scenes on screen as she wrote: "I hope Tasha is ok, I feel it’s close to bullying now which is so sad to see," followed with a heart and teary emoji. Now, after seeing Louise reunite with Gemma, viewers have shared their disappointment over the lack of "warning" she gave her daughter.
