Former Love Island star Katie Salmon shared an emotional video as she announces she’s having a career change for her baby daughter.
The 27 year old found fame as a contestant on Love Island in 2016 and has since gone on to have a career as a glamour model and OnlyFans creator. However, that seems set to change as Katie shared a video with fans where she can be seen packing away her lingerie and high heels as she explains why she’s giving up her X-rated career. Katie can be seen wiping away tears and putting her racy items into a rubbish bag as the video caption reads: “I was one of OnlyFans top creators for years.
"After struggling financially, I wanted to give myself my dream life, so I did. I travelled the world and met some amazing friends. I quickly became addicted to the money, attention and life.
“Then I fell pregnant and found out I was having a little girl. I didn’t feel comfortable doing the job while I was pregnant so I took some time off. I felt pressure to return quickly after birth.
I had a family to provide for. But I quickly realised it wasn’t my path anymore. My daughter was watching me, copying me, looking to me.” Katie continued her caption: “I had to mourn the person I once was.
I loved her. She had so much confidence and didn’t care what the world thought. But I cared what my daughter will think.
Money didn’t make me happy anymore, she did. “I felt like god was calling me to a higher purpose. I was so scared to take the chance to trust in god and myself.
I was starting over with not just myself but my child. But here I am standing and trusting in his plan.” She finished her message: “It’s ok to be sad about chapters ending. But remember to smile through the new.
