Faye Winter, the most controversial contestant in Love Island history, has been hinting at a comeback in the All Stars series. Her explosive behaviour during the 2021 series led to nearly 25,000 complaints to Ofcom after she had a heated argument with Teddy Soares.
The drama unfolded on movie night when Faye was shown a misleading clip of Teddy admitting he found Clarisse Juliette attractive during his time in Casa Amor. Her fiery reaction sparked outrage and a flood of complaints and Faye later apologised for her outburst.
Now, Faye has hinted that she might return to the show, but she's unsure if viewers have forgiven her yet.
The All Stars edition, hosted by Maya Jama, was announced in September to celebrate ten years of Love Island, with filming starting next month. In a chat with The Sun, Faye revealed that the show's bosses want her back. "They keep trying to throw me back in don't they - are the UK public ready though? That's the thing, am I forgiven? Until I'm forgiven I don't know as I'm still the most complained about Love Islander ever." Faye hinted that she might make a last-minute decision about joining the star-studded cast of Love Island All Stars.
She said: "It's one of those things, when the time comes and I have to get on a flight and go, then I'll make the decision." The show is set to air in January next year, with many former islanders preparing to fly out to South Africa soon. However, it seems one big name has had second thoughts and doesn't want to appear anymore. Anna Vakili, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2019, was rumoured to be entering the villa again.
