Love Island’s Casa Amor has been axed from the upcoming All Stars series - with the promise of brand new twists to shake the series on its head.
The secret second villa has been a staple of the ITV2 show since 2017. However, ITV bosses have pulled the plug to spring alternative surprises on this year’s stars who are returning for a second shot at finding love.
The ultimate test of loyalty has provided some of the most dramatic moments in Love Island history with a slew of bombshell contestants sent in to lure the stars away from their original coupling. Love Island’s executive producer Mike Spencer has confirmed Casa Amor has been chopped from the schedule to ensure the All Stars are kept on their toes throughout.
Mike said: “We have got to be reactive.
These islanders have done it all before so we have to be one step ahead of them.
This give us the chance to shake it up and bring in new islanders in new ways.” Revealing there are plenty of new features including secret beds hidden away in the South Africa villa, Mike said: “We have four hidden single beds in the lounge, so make of that what you will." The All Stars series will be just five weeks long with the familiar faces returning pushed to find a perfect match in record time. ITV’s Mike explained: “Casa Amor, as we know and love it, doesn’t really work for a five week run because you need time to bed in, get to know each other, see if they are for you and if you want to switch it up.

Love Island fans are fuming over contestant Chris Taylor's "annoying and immature" habit. The 33 year old star is back in the South African villa in the All Stars series, as previous contestants return once again on the look out for love. But Chris, who has previously found romance with Maura Higgins, can't seem to help saying the word "rizz" – using phrases like "forbidden rizz", "daytime rizz" and "playground rizz" – leaving unimpressed viewers begging him to stop using it.
Love Island star Hannah Elizabeth may currently be in the Love Island All Stars villa trying find the man of her dreams, but long before embarking on the ITV2 reality show for a second time, the star was previously in a long-term relationship with George Andreetti. The 33 year old mum even shares her son Reggie with her former beau, but sadly the couple split just days before the youngster’s birth back in 2019 after George posted some concerning content online. Opening up about the split, which came just six days before she gave birth to her precious bundle of joy, Hannah previously told Closer: "He isn’t well at the minute and I don’t agree with what he is posting online.
Fans of ITV's Love Island All Stars have been left puzzled over the 'missing' Islander, Hannah Elizabeth, who despite entering the villa on the first day, has barely been seen on screen by viewers. In recent episodes, Arabella and Chris have taken the spotlight with a steamy kiss and a romantic date, meanwhile, Toby and Callum had a big argument about Georgia S, leading to a major showdown in the villa.
At the start of another eventful week in the Love Island villa, our favourite Islanders were dealt a crushing blow when two stars were dumped just moments after welcoming Tyler Cruickshank into the villa. Sadly after gathering around the fire pit, Demi Jones and Luis Morrison were brutally dumped after welcoming a very familiar bombshell into the fold.Things first kicked off when Maya Jama summoned everyone to the fire pit with an all important text message, and asked newbie Arabella Chi to choose which boy she wanted to steal from her fellow ladies.
Love Island bosses have reportedly dished out a ‘flying ban’ to host Maya Jama while she films All Stars in South Africa. ITV was reportedly 'mortified' by how often Maya was flying between the UK and South Africa while filming the series last year.
Maya Jama tells us there’s not an easy way to her heart as she shimmers beneath the South African sunshine at the sumptuous Love Island villa, before adding coyly, “There shouldn’t be an easy way to anyone’s heart.” She’s the glamorous host of the nation’s favourite dating show, but Maya’s lessons in love have all been learned firsthand from her own roller-coaster love life. The TV presenter, 29, is once again wrapped up with her soulmate Stormzy, 30, four years after their romance first ended following rumours he’d cheated. Maya cut him out of her life but, in Love Island parlance, Stormzy didn’t stop grafting, writing songs about Maya and telling the world, “I want to marry her, I want to have her children.” For a while his declarations fell on deaf ears and in 2021, NBA player Ben Simmons proposed to Maya with a dazzling emerald-cut diamond ring worth £800,000.
The first ever season of Love Island: All Stars kicked off last week, which meant fans of the original show saw a string of former Islanders head back into the villa for a second chance at love. Admitting he's ready to break up couples, Josh has seen his fair share of romances including with co-star Charlotte Crosby and Georgia Harrison.
Love Island's Jake Cornish is back in the UK after a dramatic exit from ITV All Stars, just three days after entering the villa for a second time. The star, who first appeared on Love Island in 2021, was tipped to join All Stars but left mere days into the competition after failing to connect with anyone. In a further emotional twist, Jake was shocked when his ex-girlfriend, Liberty Poole, also walked in, as the public had voted for them to couple up on the show and rekindle their former romance.
Love Island All Stars is back on our screens tonight, and a teaser for the upcoming episode has revealed that the Islanders are left shaken after the arrival of a new bombshell and a dramatic text. The new version of the ITV2 dating show returned with host Maya Jama on Monday night (January 15) as a number of former islanders returned looking for a second shot at love.
Maya Jama apparently “blames herself” for the death of her late boyfriend Rico Gordon, who was shot dead when he was visiting the TV presenter in Bristol. Love Island presenter Maya was 16 years old at the time of Rico’s death, and his mother, Anna, 55, said the two were “deeply in love” with one another. Rico was aged 21 when he died on 3 July, 2011.
