Love Island's Maura Higgins reacts to BFF Leah entering villa as duo share 'last goodbye'

Former Love Island contestant Maura Higgins couldn't contain her excitement on Sunday night as her best friend, Leah Taylor, was announced as a bombshell. Leah, 27, from Manchester, who is a Business Owner (Social Media Marketing), was revealed for the villa alongside Charlotte Sumner, 30, from Bournemouth, who is a Dental Nurse.
And it wasn't long until Leah revealed her link to 2019 Islander Maura, 32, as she classifies the Irish social media influencer as one of her best friends. Speaking ahead of the show, Leah said of her favourite ever series moment: "My favourite thing I’ve ever watched is Maura’s [Higgins] best bits, she’s one of my best friends so we watched it together one night and couldn’t stop laughing, she’s hilarious." And this isn't her only celebrity connection as she added of her "claim to fame": "When I was a dancer, I actually danced at the EMAs and danced for Rita Ora and Camila Cabello." Taking to Instagram on Sunday night after Leah was announced, Maura shared a video of Leah about to walk into the villa as she said: "Nahhhh! Oh my days!", she penned: "SCREEEEMMMIINNNGGG!!!!! FINALLY @leahjtaylorr." Maura then shared their emotional "last goodbye" in a black-and-white video where they are seen hugging before Leah jets off to the Love Island villa.
She penned: "The last goodbye [heart emoji] go smash it my girl @leahjtaylorr." Talking about her perfect guy ahead of the villa, Leah revealed: "Morals, we have to have the same morals. "They have to be family oriented because I am and I want my family to be a part of our relationship.The last one is that they have to share the same goals."
