Love Island 2022 is drawing to a close, but not before fans are treated to a special episode where the Islanders meet their partner's family and friends. Sunday evening's episode is set to see the remaining Islanders get to know a little more about what their partner is like outside the villa and what their family thinks of them, as they are introduced to their other half's nearest and dearest.

Michael is set to say to Luca about Gemma: "She puts you straight doesn’t she?" Meanwhile, his mum Maria says about the couple: "First night I said they fancy each other, I knew it.
I love the values and morals she has." Gemma's friends and family are also set to appear in the villa, although it was previously revealed that her famous dad Michael Owen will not be making an appearance. During the scenes, Gemma is emotionally reunited with her mother Louise and friend Sarah as they discuss her time on the dating series.
Talking about Gemma's famous footballer father, her mum sweetly says: "Honestly, he is really proud of you, really proud." Speaking about their family, she adds: "They’re all loving watching you, they’re missing you like mad." Also reunited with their family is Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti as Ekin-Su's mum Sezer and brother Arda arrive alongside Davide's mother Nadia and sister Valeria.
