The first dramatic recoupling of Love Island series eight has happened, and with it came many twist and turns. Irishman Dami Hope, 26, chose to stay with Amber Beckford, 24, who the public chose for him to be with from the first day of the latest series. Ikenna Ekwonna, 23, also chose to stick with his original partner, Indiyah Polack, 23, who was also chosen for him by the public.
Dubai real estate agent, Andrew Le Page, 27, also chose to stay with his original partner, Yorkshire dancer, Tasha Ghouri, 23, after praising her for opening up to him. In no real surprise, Luca Bish, 23, coupled with Michael Owen's daughter, Gemma, 19, after the pair admitted that they were attracted to each other in last night's episode, leaving his original partner, Paige Thorne, 20, single and vulnerable. After Davide Sanclimenti, 27, found himself single following Luca's choosing to couple up with Gemma, he, in turn, chose to couple up with newcomer Ekin-Su, 27. Afia, 25, and Paige found themselves single, before Paige got a text that read: "After Liam left today, no one will be leaving the villa." It was a dramatic night for the show, after 22 year old Welsh student, Liam Llewellyn, announced his departure from the show after just four days, admitting that he wasn't feeling "100% Liam".
