Lottie Moss was left red-faced after one of her Celebs Go Dating co-stars misread her face tattoo.
Tom Read Wilson is the receptionist on the hit show, and as Lottie entered the room, he thought she had the word 'loser' tattooed on her face, but the ink actually says 'lover'. When the 25 year old arrived for her first session, Tom, 36, started talking to the model about the mixer that she had just attended. Lottie cracked a joke as she said: "I'm innocent with a hint of a face tattoo and everything" as she pointed to the ink below her eye.
After a couple of seconds, Tom replied and said: "You’re anything but a loser," and that comment made Lottie laugh as she explained: "It doesn't say loser, it says lover." Tom quickly apologised as he said: "Oh Lottie, I’m so sorry. It’s not the tattoo’s fault. It’s mine – I’m myopic." In 2022, Lottie got the face tattoo after a boozy night out, but she quickly shared her regret over the ink.
She explained why she had it done in an interview with Glamour, where she said: "Since rehab, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery. I’ve spent a lot of time in Bali, surrounded by nature, reading alone or spending time with like-minded people – and learning to love myself again while finally being free from my former life. "That’s why I decided to get my face tattoo; the word ‘lover’ under my eye.
"Yes, it was impulsive, but after years of being so controlled, it was my way of expressing that I am free. I’m no longer controlled." Despite that explanation, Lottie often covers it up with make-up and reports suggest that she is thinking of getting it removed. The OnlyFans model is part of a star-studded line-up taking part in the E4 show this year, she has joined the likes of Love Island stars
