Vanessa Feltz continued her quest for love on Celebs Go Dating on Tuesday night, but her date with Paul left viewers cringing. Restaurant owner Paul failed to make an impression on This Morning regular Vanessa – who attempted to keep the conversation flowing.
However, Vanessa, 61, seemed appalled that he served Hawaiian pizza in his Italian restaurant – and things went from bad to worse when he told her he felt like he was being interviewed with her line of questioning. Paul said: "You're lovely, but I feel like I'm being interviewed” but Vanessa quickly shot back with: “You are quite brief in your answers, you could attempt some conversation, how about that?" In an attempt to spice things up, Paul attempted to feed Vanessa a marshmallow, but it was a bad move and Vanessa bluntly said: “No, there's no need.
No, I can feed myself, it's fine." In a confessional to the camera, Vanessa says: "There's no chemistry or conversation, it's tanking terribly - what makes him think he can feed me?" The end of the date finally came, but the awkwardness wasn’t over as when they parted ways, Paul lifted the TV star up off her feet into a hug, to which she said: "Why would you do that? Bloody hell." Reflecting on the date to the cameras, Paul said: "I get the impression she didn't like me, but it was nice to meet her." Vanessa was less kind in her review as she moaned: "I couldn't f****** stand it.. it was agony.
