Lorraine Kelly was reportedly named on a "suspicious" package that appeared at the ITV studios and prompted a whole building evacuation. Bosses and security were concerned that the box, which thankfully didn't reach the Scottish presenter, could have a bomb inside. As a result, the package was intercepted as quickly as possible and the building's staff and TV stars were all ordered to leave the building as soon as possible.
As well as 62 year old Lorraine, This Morning hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were ushered out of the ITV studio complex. Police arrived to the building, which is based in West London, and conducted an investigation into the item.
It was then said that the box addressed to Lorraine was removed by experts. OK! has contacted representatives for Lorraine and ITV for comment.The chat show host was said to be "very concerned" at being a potential target for aggression, but it's not yet known exactly what was in the package. "Word quickly got around that whatever the box contained, it was addressed to Lorraine," a source told The Sun.
"Everyone at ITV loves her - so people were upset and very concerned over the whole incident. "Fortunately everyone is safe, but it shakes everyone up," the insider added. Become an OK!
