Early morning television presenter Lorraine Kelly has admitted to being extremely shocked to have heard her name mentioned by a band of Coronation Street characters as she sat down to watch the ITV soap. Lorraine, 62, told viewers on Thursday 24 March that she wasn't expecting to hear herself being referenced on the Cobbles and that the experience was "very strange".
Wednesday 23 March's episode saw Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) and Gary Windass (Mikey North) sitting in Roy's Rolls cafe, engaged in a heated discussion about the former's turbulent relationship with "dying" mother, Laura (Kel Allen). "I meant what I said when I don't want her in that flat," Kelly angrily tells Gary.

"That's a bit harsh!" waitress Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) chimes in, before Gary instructs her, "Oh, come on, mind your own."
