Lorraine Kelly has told Prince Andrew to 'just shut it and go away' as she discussed his potential return to public life.
The TV presenter was chatting with Russell Myers about the Duke of York's recent legal settlement with accuser Virginia Giuffre over a civil sex assault claim she filed against him in the US.
Lorraine, 62, talked about the possibility Prince Andrew may appear in public once again.
She said: “Surely he’s not that tone deaf?”
Royal expert Russell talked about the current important events in the world and added: "You would have thought that there wouldn’t have been any noises coming from the camp.
"Now this has sort of stemmed over the last few days because there’s been another cascade of people dropping him.
“Of course a couple of weeks ago he settled this big civil sex assault case in the United States. It cost £12million we understand."
Lorraine couldn't resist adding: “Despite the fact he says he never met her."
Russell replied: “Well, indeed. He’s always denied those allegations.
“But, I think it’s a big year for the Queen and the royal family, the Platinum Jubilee year.
After chatting about the Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Scotland joining St Andrew’s on 'washing their hand of him', Russell discussed the fact the one of his friends said 'he’s still a young man, he’s 62, he feels like he’s got a lot to give.'
