The first footage from the acclaimed resort-set comedy’s new season has been  released by HBO Max courtesy of a new preview of TV shows “coming soon” to the streamer. Ellise Shafer The second installment of HBO’s “The White Lotus” has added Italian stars Beatrice Grannó, Sabrina Impacciatore and Simona Tabasco to its cast.As Variety exclusively revealed in January, the highly-anticipated Season 2 of Mike White’s social satire will take place at a luxurious resort in Sicily. Impacciatore will play Valentina, the manager of the White Lotus Sicily resort.

HBO has shored up the season 2 cast of The White Lotus by adding three Italian stars to the ensemble.

Jennifer Coolidge is coming back for The White Lotus season 2!

The network also shared that production on the season has begun in Sicily, Italy.Season 2 of the satire will consist of seven episodes and follow the exploits of various guests and employees at an exclusive Italian over the span of a week, similarly formatted to the Hawai’i-set first season.
