A Texas woman was charged with murder Monday after authorities alleged she admitted to fatally stabbing her 5-year-old daughter in the neck at a park and wrapping her in bags. Melissa White Towne, 37, was booked in the Harris County Jail after she drove to a hospital emergency room Sunday and told staff she had killed her daughter, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. Meet Benson, a three-year-old pup from Houston who is looking for a forever home.  Benson, thought to be a mix of a retriever and a Catahoula, is one of the many dogs up for adoption right now at Best Friends in Houston.  The adorable dog came to the program through a shelter in Houston called Harris County Pets, one of the animal intake shelters in the area.  Benson is great with people and with other dogs.
