Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large BET is bringing the “Soul Train Awards” back to Las Vegas.  The channel is set to announce on Thursday that the annual event’s 2022 edition will tape on Sunday, November 13, in Sin City. The awards show aims to recognize the year’s top soul, R&B and hip hop. “Soul Train Awards” nominees, selected by a voting academy of music industry insiders, performers, and presenters, will be announced at a later date. BET also said it will adhere to local COVID-19 protocols in cooperation with Las Vegas county officials. Last year’s “Soul Train Awards”were held in New York, at Harlem’s Apollo Theatre, co-hosted by Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold returned as co-hosts. Ashantiwas given the “Lady of Soul” award, Maxwell was presented with the “Legend” award and Ciara and Russell WilsonandMarley Diasreceived the “Souls of Justice” award.

Despite Adam Levine being involved in a cheating scandal, he and wife Behati Prinsloo were spotted traveling together ahead of the "Maroon 5" singer’s Las Vegas residency.  The couple arrived at an air strip in Santa Barbara, California before boarding a private jet to Sin City.  Levine, 43, and Prinsloo, 34, showed a united front as they apparently headed to a romantic getaway together before his charity performance on October 1 for Shaquille O’ Neil’s foundation.  The "Sugar" singer sported a casual look with a black Sublime band t-shirt and ripped denim jeans while wearing bright green Nike sneakers. Maroon 5 have announced a Las Vegas residency amid frontman Adam Levine's cheating scandal. The Sugar hitmakers confirmed on Tuesday that they will headline a Sin City residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM from 24 March 2023. According to a press release, the show, titled M5LV The Residency, will be custom-designed for the auditorium, giving fans an intimate concert experience in the 5,200-seat entertainment venue.

The new project, “Nosorog,” tells a contemporary story of Tamara, a distraught woman on a desperate search for her missing son in a small town consumed by violent riots. To help get her son back, she hires a shady detective, Brayuk, with unexpected consequences. Rodnyansky joins producers Aliya Mendygozhina and Olga Khlasheva on the project, which is a co-production between the State Center of Support of the National Cinema of Kazakhstan and Kazakh film company Golden Man Media.
