Manchester United are back in action this weekend as the Premier League season draws ever nearer.
Erik ten Hag's side will travel to Norway to face Atletico Madrid on Saturday before facing Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on Sunday. United enjoyed a positive pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia earlier this month.
Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace were all beaten by Ten Hag's new-look side, while United were denied by a late equaliser against Aston Villa which denied them a fourth straight victory. Ten Hag's options this weekend have been boosted by the signing of Lisandro Martinez, while Christian Eriksen, who joined during the pre-season tour, is also available.

It is expected that Ten Hag will choose a strong line-up for the match with Atletico in the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. That would suggest that David de Gea will start in goal with Lisandro Martinez potentially set to start in the heart of the defence.
Luke Shaw's absence means Tyrell Malacia should get the nod while Diogo Dalot will hope to be given the chance to once again prove to Ten Hag that he can be his go-to right-back this season. Both Scott McTominay and Fred were seen training together on Thursday and they could partner up in central midfield.
In attack, Anthony Martial will be hopeful of starting having scored three goals during the tour. Cristiano Ronaldo is unlikely to feature on Saturday having not featured at all so far this pre-season. Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho will hope to continue in the wide areas.
United predicted XI vs Atletico Madrid - De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Malacia; Fred, McTominay, Fernandes; Sancho, Rashford, Martial.
